Whether it’s a mountain lake or an adventure, spa or swimming pool – Davos Klosters is a dream come true for water babies.
Water-based activities in Davos
With a 3.8-kilometre-long lakeside and a maximum water temperature of 20 degrees – refreshing Lake Davos has room for lots of different sporting activities. Whether it’s SUP, sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, a trip on a pedalo or just a nice dip – there’s sure to be something to keep you occupied. Of course, there’s plenty to enjoy lakeside, too: relaxing by the beach pool (where beach volleyball, a trampoline and a fine restaurant await), feeding squirrels on the circle path, jogging, sunbathing... The choice is yours, and the lake is much loved.
Immerse yourself in the water wonderland of Eau-là-là»! A swimming pool, splash pool for kids or a water slide – or how about relaxing in the big warm spa pool outside? In summer, we also have a fun kids’ play and splash area and table tennis and football for more active pool guests.
Fancy some self-care? We’ve got a steam bath, two solariums, cold water area, clubroom, log cabin sauna and other saunas, an open-air whirlpool and a spacious sunbathing terrace – enjoy!
The family-friendly pool with plenty of options: swimming pools (for sporty types), a diving pool (for the brave at heart), a water slide and a kids’ pool in the shade with different water play facilities (for little ones). And the latest attraction is also waiting for you to give it a try: a four-metre-high climbing wall with three levels of difficulty looming over the diving pool. The beach volleyball court, kids’ playground, vast sunbathing meadow and a convivial restaurant round off the facilities.
This activity was actually invented by Polynesian fishermen to make their work easier. SUP has also become a firm favourite here in Davos. The trendy sport is easy to pick up and keeps you fit and happy. It’s wonderful to glide over the still waters of Lake Davos!
River rafting is often chosen as a team-building activity – and for good reason: mastering a rushing river in a raft is a tough task! And when you’ve managed it, the feeling of success is huge! Here in the local area, there are two options for river rafting and canyoning, suitable for beginners and those with more experience alike:
On the Vorderrhein: between Ilanz and Reichenau
On the Landquart: between Küblis and Grüsch
